This stinks, but I haven't posted anything in a while. It's not a manga, per se, but a comic I had to make for my Japanese class. This is actually a copy, as my teacher has the original and has yet to give it back, so I don't think I'll get it before the end of the semester. Anyway, we had to create an original comic, so I made this one. The scenerio is that the two girls here are cops of some sort (in the future, probably), and they're searching for a fugitive. The dialogue goes something like this:
Officer 1: Blast! We lost him! Stupid darkness...
Officer 2: Hey, hey, we can use it!
O1: What?
O2: THIS!
O1: What is *that*?
O2: A light bird (Kagayakitori). I call him Kurahi.
O1: Why?
O2: Because he glows in the dark (Kurai de Hikaru)!

Basically, I wanted to show off that I knew how to say "glow in the dark" in Japanese, thus creating the pun. The other pun I thought of later, which is the whole 'kagayakitori' business. See, 'kagayaki' means sparkle, or shine, and 'yakitori' is a kind of Japanese fried chicken.
If I ever get the original back, I might try coloring this. But that might not ever happen....

Hehe. Your puns amuse me, even if they do have to be explained for me to have any idea ... I also really love the expressions they're making. Nice job!
